Stephen Campos

Stephen Campos has extensive work experience in the field of cyber threat engineering and software development. Stephen is currently employed at Shift5 as a Staff Cyber Threat Engineer and has been working there since February 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Cyber Threat Engineer at Shift5 starting from November 2022. Before joining Shift5, Stephen worked at Sophos as a Principal Software Engineer for almost 8 years, from June 2014 to November 2022. Stephen was an Architect at Lumension from November 2012 to May 2014. From January 2010 to October 2012, Stephen served as the Director of Quality Assurance at CoreTrace. Stephen also worked as a Senior Security Consultant as an independent contractor from November 2006 to January 2010. Stephen has a strong background in software engineering and worked as a Software Engineer IV at both Psionic Technologies/Cisco Systems, Inc. and WheelGroup Corporation/Cisco Systems, Inc. from December 2001 to October 2006 and from 1997 to 2001 respectively. Stephen began their career as a Software Team Lead at Trident Data Systems in 1994.
