Laura Watson

Laura Watson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Laura began in 2003 as a Student Office Assistant at Old Dominion University, where they performed administrative duties and organized records. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Receptionist and Fitness and Tanning Assistant at Harrisonburg/Bridgewater Family Fitness, handling front desk operations, training individuals, and managing inventory. In 2008, they joined the Town of Herndon Parks & Recreation Department as an Office/Administrative Assistant and Gymnastics Instructor, providing administrative support and teaching gymnastics classes. From 2009 to 2012, they served as the Head Varsity Gymnastics Coach at Fairfax County Public Schools, managing the program, coordinating activities, and implementing improvement techniques. From 2011 to 2013, they took time off to be a Stay-at-Home Mother before joining Shift7 Digital. At Shift7 Digital, they held multiple positions, including Office Assistant from 2013 to 2015, Office Manager from 2015 to 2018, and currently, they work as a Project Accountant since 2018.

Laura Watson attended Lake Braddock Secondary from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained an Advanced Diploma. Following that, they enrolled at Old Dominion University from 2002 to 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a field of study in Exercise Science. Later, in 2006-2007, Laura attended James Madison University's Nutrition and Physical Activity Master's Program, although no specific degree name was stated.
