Malte Kraus

Malte Kraus is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in the field of product security. Currently serving as a Security Researcher at ShiftLeft, Inc. since December 2020, Malte previously worked as a Security Engineer at SUSE from December 2018 to November 2020, focusing on proactive product security. Earlier roles include a Research Assistant position at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, where Malte specialized in ARM Trustzone, and various working student positions at Siemens Healthineers and DATEV eG, contributing to the development of tools and applications. Malte also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant in a "Hacking Lab" at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Malte holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, completed in 2018.
