Michael J. began their career in 2000 as a Supervisor at T-Mobile's Help Desk. In 2010, they became a Project Manager at Vital Network Services, where they were responsible for coordinating, managing, and planning all contracted installs. In 2011, they moved to Raymond James & Associates, Inc. as an IT Supervisor - Technical Service Center, where they managed the day to day operations of a staff of 11 direct reports and 50 indirect. In 2013, they joined SPI - Software Paradigms International as an Application Support Manager, leading a local team of eight people and an offshore team of twelve people who monitored system activities for customers. Finally, in 2016, they became the Director of IT at Shiloh Technologies.

Michael J. attended Southern New Hampshire University from 2019 to 2024, where they completed their Bachelor's Degree Course Work in Information Technology (BA - Information Technology). Michael also obtained the ITIL Foundations V3 certification from ITIL Certified in February 2012.
