Casey Lamers

Casey Lamers is a seasoned professional in software engineering and biomedical engineering with a robust background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at SHINE Technologies since February 2022, Casey also holds the title of Senior Controls Engineer at Phoenix, LLC, where responsibilities include designing machine interfaces and automation for a commercial-grade particle accelerator. As the Head Coach of the UW Cycling Club since September 2014, Casey develops training programs and leads group classes. Additionally, as a co-owner of Speed Cycling, LLC, coaching is provided to cyclists and multisport athletes. Prior experience includes roles as a Scientist in Biomedical Engineering at BellBrook Labs, an Associate Scientist supporting cell biology research, and an Instrumentation Technologist at the UW-Madison Biotech Center, contributing significantly to product development and process innovation. Casey's educational background includes dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Molecular Biology and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
