Robert Sams

Robert Sams has extensive experience in plant operations and management within the chemical industry. Currently serving as Superintendent at Shintech, Inc. since May 2021, Robert previously held several positions at Birla Carbon from July 2014 to May 2021, including Operations Manager, Plant Operations Superintendent, and Process Engineer. In these roles, Robert was responsible for safety, production, quality, and environmental compliance goals, leading teams and overseeing operational duties at the North Bend Plant. Robert holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has an educational background from Georgia Southern University.
