Khalid Merhi

Khalid Merhi has extensive work experience in various technology-related roles. Khalid started their career as an Information Technology Officer at CIGI in 2003, where they negotiated supply contracts for IT goods and services, managed local area networks, and maintained budgetary considerations. Khalid then became an Application Developer at CIGI, where they launched the first version of a flagship system and migrated to a more flexible system. Khalid moved on to become a Manager of Development at CIGI, where they led the development team, experimented with different methodologies, and grew the team through strategic hires and individual career development.

In 2008, Khalid joined IGLOO Inc. as the VP of Application Development. Khalid played a key role in building the company's product, overseeing product development initiatives, and ensuring timely delivery with high-quality standards. After leaving IGLOO Inc., they joined Enterprise File System Incorporated in 2011 as a Senior Technical Consultant. In this role, they worked on new product development for fortune 500 clients, including developing iOS apps, building virtualization web applications, and enhancing user interface in existing proprietary systems.

Khalid's most recent work experience was as the VP of Research & Development at Shinydocs Corporation, where they joined in 2013.

Khalid Merhi attended the American University of Beirut from 1998 to 2003. Khalid pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer and Communication Engineering during their time at the university.
