Tonya Salomons

Tonya Salomons is a dedicated social worker with extensive experience in various roles focused on health, housing, and mental wellness. Tonya has worked as a Housing Focused Street Outreach Worker at London CAReS, where responsibilities included assisting street-involved individuals with housing and safety needs. Additional roles include being a Health, Wellness and Safety Coordinator and Community Mental Health Counsellor at Services and Housing In the Province (SHIP) and serving as Project Coordinator for the Toronto HomeShare Pilot Project for the National Initiative for the Care of the Elderly. Tonya has also provided support as a Graduate Student Assistant at King's University College, where duties involved teaching assistance and providing lectures. Previous experience includes working as an Employment Counselor and providing social work support in inpatient rehabilitation units. Tonya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with Honours from King's University College and a Master’s Degree in Social Work with Honours from Western University.
