Scott Puleo has over 20 years of experience in the tech industry. Scott began their career in 1996 as a Systems Administrator and Technical Manager at New Horizons, where they designed and managed an automated classroom workstation imaging process and a custom workstation inventory application. In 2000, they moved to Icebox Media as a Senior Web Developer. From 2005 to 2013, Scott worked at NBTY - Puritan's Pride as the Director of Web Engineering, managing the technical design and operation of a portfolio of e-commerce websites. During this time, they also migrated legacy merchandising and marketing administrative tools from classic ASP to a CQRS, event sourced platform. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at Shutterstock and a Sr. Solutions Architect at Limelight Networks. Since 2014, they have been working as a Lead Software Engineer at Zulily, and they currently hold the role of Principal UI Engineer at Shipium.
Scott Puleo has attended Suffolk County Community College and holds a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
