Julia Overmas

Julia Overmars serves as the Senior Vice President of People at Shippeo since May 2023, overseeing the People Group functions including Talent Management, Talent Operations, and Talent Acquisition across seven countries. Previously, Julia held the position of Vice President of People EMEA at AvePoint, where responsibilities included managing HR Business Partners and People Operations for 200 employees across nine countries. Before that, Julia was the HR Director for EMEA at LivePerson, leading a team responsible for over 320 employees and achieving notable accolades such as Great Place To Work certifications. Julia's extensive HR career began with Lufthansa in various roles, including Consultant and Head of Human Resources Services Europe, managing HR operations for 1,800 employees in 35 countries. Julia holds a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, and dual Master's degrees in Business Administration and Environmental Science from Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
