Luis Loaiza

Luis Loaiza is an experienced entrepreneur and technologist with a decade of experience in the industry. In 2009, they co-founded CometBits and served as CEO, managing go-to-market strategies and product management. In 2012, they co-founded Escapeswithyou.com and served as CTO, building a real-time platform to process and curate big data from user actions and shares at social networks. Luis also served as CTO at Innovative Ventures Panama, building real-time communication mobile services and mobile apps. In 2013, they co-founded Shippify Inc. and served in dual roles as Chief of Product and CTO. As Chief of Product, they developed the product vision and built the best cross-functional team to achieve it. As CTO, they built one of the most efficient and talented tech teams in LATAM. In 2014, they co-founded Criptext Inc., where they were in charge of building the software engineering team and designing their products and infrastructure. In 2017, they founded Jelou AI, where they created their first chatbot for the world's popular IRC client.

Luis Loaiza has a diverse educational background. Luis began their studies in 2001 at COPOL, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Engineering. Luis then attended Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral from 2005 to 2009, where they earned an Ingeniería en Ciencias Cmputacionles in Computer Science. Luis also received a Computer Science Engineer degree from ESPOL in Multimedia Systems.
