Hygor Knust

Hygor Knust is a highly experienced data engineer with a strong background in developing and implementing data platforms across various industries. Currently serving as a Data Engineer at Shippo since March 2024, Hygor previously held the position of Senior Data Platform Engineer at CloudBeds, where significant contributions included transitioning to microservices, processing real-time data with Kafka Streams, and managing metrics visibility using Grafana and Prometheus. Prior experience includes improving EPCI tracking for FPSO vessels at Shape and enabling real-time cellular network metrics for multiple projects at Nokia, where a streaming data platform was developed to handle billions of metrics daily. Hygor began a career as a Data Analyst at Nokia, focusing on optimizing radio network operations through data analysis. Academically, Hygor holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and a technical degree in Electronics from ETE Henrique Lage.
