Steven Baer

Steven Baer has a strong background in the legal field and has held various roles in well-known companies. Steven began their career as a Legal Intern at Borderfree in 2011 before moving on to become a Senior Legal Counsel at Borderfree (acquired by Pitney Bowes) in 2012. In this role, they were responsible for contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, compliance, and other legal matters. Steven also played a significant role in the establishment of foreign subsidiaries and branch offices. Baer then joined Pitney Bowes as an Assistant General Counsel in 2015, where they continued to provide legal support and advice. In 2017, they transitioned to Twitter as a Senior Managing Counsel, holding this position until 2022. Currently, Baer is working as the Legal Director of Product & Commercial at Shippo, starting in December 2022.

Steven Baer obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. From 2009 to 2012, they attended the Cardozo School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor degree. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Pine Crest School from 2001 to 2005.
