Richa Bareja

Richa Bareja is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in tax advisory and management. Currently serving as Associate Director at Shiprocket since August 2022, Richa leads the tax function at the group level, focuses on optimizing tax structures, and oversees direct and indirect tax implications related to investments, including handling litigation in GST and income tax. Previously, Richa worked at EY as a Tax Consultant from November 2014 to August 2022, providing corporate and international tax advisory services. Richa holds multiple qualifications, including a Chartered Accountant and a Diploma in International Taxation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, an MBA in Accounting and Finance, and is pursuing an Advanced Diploma in International Tax from the Chartered Institute of Taxation in the United Kingdom. Additionally, Richa holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
