Dan Tidwell is a highly experienced engineering professional with a background in software development and leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Principal Engineer at Shipt since June 2018, Tidwell has progressed through various engineering positions, including Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Previous experience includes serving as CTO at Book-It Legal, a platform connecting attorneys with law students for collaborative projects, and working as a Software Developer at ALLOY and EBSCO Information Services. Tidwell's technical foundation is supported by a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Auburn University. Additionally, Tidwell possesses unique experience as a Showband Musician with Carnival Cruise Lines, performing diverse musical styles.
