Ron Cuirle

Ron Cuirle is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Shipt since February 2021. Previously, Cuirle held multiple engineering management roles at Target from July 2015 to February 2021, where responsibilities included coaching teams on cloud adoption, refining continuous delivery pipelines, and driving innovations in platform-as-a-service offerings. Prior experience includes positions as Configuration & Release Manager at IgnitionOne, Software Engineer III at Knotice, and IT Technical Specialist III at FirstEnergy Corp, where key contributions involved architecting software applications and implementing development tools. Cuirle also has teaching experience as a part-time lecturer at The University of Akron and a strong foundation in software development, demonstrated through roles at VendorTech and Mozes Cleveland & Co. Cuirle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University.
