Jason Traff

Jason Traff is the president and cofounder of Shipwell. Jason has a long history of working in startups and investments, starting withCopyCat Paintings in 2007. Jason has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and after seeing success with CopyCat Paintings, they went on to cofound Leaky in 2010. Leaky was a revolutionary insurance comparison website that provided holistic insurance comparisons from over 100 insurance companies across the US. It was acquired by Navion Insurance in 2013.

After the success of Leaky, Jason became a family office partner at Bisonwood Investments in 2013. Jason worked there for four years before becoming the principal of the company in 2017. Jason left Bisonwood Investments in 2019 to start Shipwell.

Jason has always been driven to help people save money and get the best possible deals on their insurance. Jason's experience in the industry has allowed him to build a strong foundation for Shipwell. Jason is committed to making Shipwell the go-to source for anyone looking for insurance quotes.

Jason Traff has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the MIT Sloan School of Management as well as a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University. Jason is also certified from the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst.
