Jill Tönsmann

Jill Tönsmann is a climate strategy consultant at shipzero, focusing on sustainability initiatives since August 2025. Previously, Jill held the position of Expert Lead in Sustainability Offering at Forto from December 2021 to July 2025, where responsibilities included driving product development, promoting sustainable supply chains, and managing financial reporting. Jill has also worked as a Senior Sustainability Manager at Forto, executing projects related to emissions tracking and reporting. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Business Development Manager at Lendis, where market expansion and data-driven decision-making were key focuses, and earlier roles at Forto and Hettich Group involving business development and corporate controlling. Jill holds a Master of Science in Management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from FHDW - University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld, complemented by a study abroad semester in Lima, Peru.
