Mike van Drunen

Mike Van Drunen is an experienced executive with a strong background in innovative technology and sustainable practices. Currently serving as Chairman and CEO of Shloop since January 2023 and Co-Founder of BLOOM Foam since March 2021, Van Drunen focuses on revolutionizing foam production using algae-derived materials. Previously, Van Drunen was CEO of ALGIX, Inc. from August 2010 to November 2021, where efforts centered on utilizing algae for environmental solutions. Additional leadership roles include senior management positions at PneumaticScaleAngelus and Federal Manufacturing Corp, and serving as CEO of EPSI, Inc. Van Drunen holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from DeVry University.
