Alessandra Bowes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alessandra began their career in 2013 as a Camera Operator at New Dawn Studios, where they worked on a wide range of shoots including corporate events, theatre, dance, and promotional videos. During this time, they had the opportunity to work with high-profile clients such as Olympic athlete Michael Phelps and Michelin Star Chef Thomas Keller. In 2014, Alessandra transitioned to become a Coach at First City CrossFit, where they taught and coached a variety of bodyweight and barbell movements to clients of all ages and abilities. In 2015, they joined Shmoop as a Video Manager, where they developed operating procedures and processes for the video team and managed a team of script editors, video reviewers, talent, videographers, and interns. Additionally, they implemented a documentation system to enhance workflow transparency. During the same year, Alessandra also worked at Eyeline as a Teleprompting specialist, where they set up and operated teleprompting software and equipment for high-profile corporate clients such as Oracle and Wells Fargo. Alessandra collaborated closely with talent to improve script delivery.

Alessandra Bowes completed their education at various institutions. Alessandra began their studies at Robert Louis Stevenson School, Pebble Beach CA, from 2003 to 2005. Following this, they attended Liceo Classico Marco Foscarini in Venice, Italy, from 2005 to 2008 and obtained a Maturità--State Exam. Alessandra then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology at the University of York, where they studied between 2009 and 2012. Lastly, they attended The University of Salford from 2012 to 2013, where they received a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Wildlife Documentary Production.
