Don Tay

Don Tay has work experience in various companies and roles. In 2019, they worked as a Web Developer at DishDash.co. In 2020, they joined ShopBack as a Software Engineer, where they developed micro-services using technologies such as Node.js, React, NestJS, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. Don also deployed and monitored services using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and ELK Stack, and played a key role in revamping the partner billing system. Additionally, Don collaborated with engineers across multiple countries to migrate an in-house Refer-A-Friend system from a 3rd party system. In 2021, they worked as a Software Developer at Daisy Intelligence Corporation. In 2022, Don worked as a Data Engineer at TikTok and later returned to ShopBack as a Software Engineer.

Don Tay completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 2014 to 2015, they attended Temasek Junior College, where they pursued the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level. Don'sfield of study during this period was 4 H2.

Subsequently, from 2018 to 2022, Don studied at the National University of Singapore. Don obtained their Bachelor of Computing degree with a focus on Computer Science.

In 2021, they also participated in the NUS Overseas College program at the University of Toronto. The program focused on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.

In terms of additional certifications, Don acquired the title of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2021.
