Joon Wei Lai

Joon Wei Lai currently serves as a Key Account Manager at ShopBack, focusing on financial services partnerships, payment, and loyalty, since July 2023. Previously, Joon Wei worked as a Brand Key Account Manager at Shopee from November 2021 to July 2023, managing a portfolio of Regional Tier 1 brands, OEM brands, and local marketplace sellers in the Electronics and Home Appliances categories, while also organizing top-to-top meetings and joint business planning. Prior experience includes a role as Relationship Manager at Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad and positions in risk control and business continuity management. Joon Wei began a career as a Management Trainee and gained leadership experience as a Student Ambassador at the University of the West of England, where a BA (Hons) in International Business was earned. A foundational education was completed in the American Degree Transfer Program at Sunway University.
