Ly Pham

Ly Pham has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and business intelligence.

From 2018 to 2021, Ly worked at NTT DATA, starting as a Business Intelligence Developer and later becoming a Senior Data Engineer. In these roles, Ly was involved in multiple business intelligence projects, utilizing technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI to build data warehousing and BI systems. Ly received recognition for their contributions, including being named Employee of the Year in January 2020 and Employee of the Month in April 2019.

Before NTT DATA, Ly had a digital marketing internship at EyeCura in 2018, where they gained experience in optimizing marketing advertisements and driving user engagement through data analytics and tracking.

Currently, Ly is working as a Data Platform Engineer at ShopBack, where they are responsible for modernizing the data pipelines framework for a 100 TB data lake. They have successfully enhanced the scalability and agility of the pipelines, as well as reduced data warehouse blockers.

Ly Pham completed a Bachelor of Business Information Systems from RMIT University Vietnam, specializing in Business, Information systems, and Information technology. This degree was obtained between the years 2016 and 2018. Additionally, Ly Pham pursued further education at RMIT University, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems from 2017 to 2018. In terms of certifications, Ly Pham obtained an IELTS score of 7.0 in August 2017. They also served as a logistic coordinator for TEDxRMIT in April 2017. Furthermore, Ly Pham holds two Microsoft certifications: Azure Data Engineer Associate, obtained in December 2020, and Data Analyst Associate, obtained in September 2020.
