Ray Tan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ray most recently worked at ShopBack as a Business Development and Key Account Manager, where they achieved top BD in Q2 and Q3 2022. Ray was responsible for acquiring F&B merchants and negotiating discounts for marketing campaigns. Prior to that, Ray was a Marketing Manager at Ducks N Crafts Pte. Ltd., where they led the commercial Go-To-Market strategy and functions across business development, account management, merchant support, and social media. Ray also worked at Resorts World Sentosa as an Assistant Account Manager, where they conducted research for feasibility studies and initiated strategic partnerships. Ray's earlier roles include being an Events Coordinator at MCI Group, a Sales Coordinator at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, and an Admin Assistant at P&G.
Ray Tan has a Bachelor of Hospitality Business with Honors degree from the Singapore Institute of Technology. Ray also studied Hospitality and Tourism Management at Nanyang Polytechnic. In addition to their formal education, Ray has obtained several certifications, including a Real Estate Salesperson certification from ERA Real Estate, an Inbound certification from HubSpot Academy, and various certifications from LinkedIn, such as "Selling with Stories, Part 2: Stories Great Sales People Tell" and "Soft Skills for Sales Professionals."
