Siyong Wang

Siyong Wang has a diverse and extensive work experience. Siyong started their career as a Coach at KR Steppers in 2005. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Simulation Software & Technology (S2T) Pte Ltd, where they contributed to various projects involving software design, development, and deployment.

In 2012, Siyong joined GIC as an IT Analyst, leading a team to develop a staff suggestion portal and tracking platform for innovation projects. At ABP Solutions Pte Ltd, where they worked as a Senior Solutions Consultant from 2013 to 2015, Siyong managed the company's operations and implemented agile methodologies to improve project duration.

From 2015 to 2017, Siyong worked as a Technical Lead at Contessa Pte Ltd, focusing on ERP development, mobile application design, and software development project management. At One Business Network Pte Ltd during the same time period, they served as a Technical Co-Founder.

Siyong then joined Vault Dragon Medical in 2017 as a Team Lead, where they played a crucial role in transforming standalone product lines into a multi-tenanted SaaS application. Siyong also managed the tech team's career progression and talent management.

Since 2019, Siyong has been working at ShopBack, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and later being promoted to the role of Staff Software Engineer. Their responsibilities at ShopBack included conducting interviews, supporting junior team members, recommending process improvements, leading projects, and providing technical advice to other teams.

Throughout their career, Siyong Wang has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, project management, system design, and technical leadership.

Siyong Wang completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, from the year 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, Siyong Wang attended Victoria Junior College from 2001 to 2002, completing A levels in Science.
