Cuong Bui

Cuong Bui is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software development and infrastructure management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager and previously as Principal Engineer at Shopee since February 2020, Cuong focuses on order processing. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Infrastructure and Architecture at VinID, where knowledge of Fintech was developed, and as Senior Solution Architect at FPT Software, responsible for software architecture on the Amazon AWS platform and overseeing Cognitive Computing and Big Data programs. Additional positions include Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services, Senior Java Developer at the Office of the CIO for the State of Nebraska, and roles at ADATAO, Inc., Nationwide Insurance, and University of Iowa. Cuong holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Iowa and a BE in Applied Mathematics from Hanoi University of Technology.
