Sharad Roy

Sharad Roy is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in frontend development and mobile application deployment. Sharad's career began with an internship at PostInc, followed by a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Stratagem Capital Partners, LLC. Subsequently, Sharad advanced to Shopee, where contributions spanned multiple features including the product page, cart and checkout, sharing, chat, and notifications, culminating in a current position as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on checkout and Shopee+ subscription features. Prior experience also includes developing the frontend for the Newzera mobile app and managing projects at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai, where Sharad held multiple roles, including Executive Core Member of a coding club and Cultural Secretary. Sharad holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai.
