Alex Viau

Alex Viau is a Senior Video Producer on the Culture Studios team at Shopify, where they shoot, edit, and produce high-quality content. They have extensive experience in the creative field, having worked as a Freelance Videographer and Photographer for various companies, including Endeavor Design Inc. and Reigning Champ. Alex has also held roles such as Sr. Art Director at Isobar and Creative Director at Daily News Project, which they co-founded. They earned degrees in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of Victoria and in Film, Video, Integrated Media from Emily Carr University of Art and Design.
