André Ache

André Ache is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Shopify since August 2019, where André has led the development of fraud detection classifiers utilizing advanced technologies such as XGBoost, TensorFlow, Vertex AI, Ray, CometML, and Airflow, achieving significant cost savings exceeding 1 million USD annually. Prior to Shopify, André accumulated extensive experience at Ifortix from January 2014 to April 2019, holding roles as Senior Data Analyst, Data Analyst in Support Intelligence, and Support Advisor. André also served as Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and Supervisor at Solon Nhuch Architecture from June 2010 to December 2013, and worked as a Financial Analyst at Oi Telecom SA from January 2006 to October 2008, beginning with a Management Internship. André holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, obtained from 2006 to 2012.
