As a Senior Data Scientist at Shopify, Ashay Pathak leads support sub-teams within the Retail department, focusing on enhancing the merchant experience through data-driven solutions. Ashay has spearheaded the development of back-office tools, real-time streaming systems, and machine learning NLP applications to optimize product performance and sales conversions. Previously, Ashay contributed to Shopify's Messaging team, utilizing data science techniques to engage customers through conversational commerce. With a Master's degree in Big Data from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya, Ashay is dedicated to harnessing data to address real-world challenges.
