Charles Ng

Charles Ng is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in production engineering and software development. Since December 2013, Charles has been a Senior Production Engineering Manager at Shopify, where Charles leads the Communications Infrastructure group and has played a pivotal role in forming and expanding teams focused on Edge Infrastructure, Email Deliverability, and Notifications. Previous roles at IBM Canada and Cognos Inc. included technical leadership on initiatives related to Cognos and Watson Analytics, as well as significant contributions to query and data storage technologies. Charles began a career in software development in 1997, holding positions in various companies, and holds a B. Math in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
