Derek Kan

Derek Kan is currently the Vice President of Business Operations at Shopify, where they focus on building the next generation of e-commerce fulfillment infrastructure. They previously served as Chief Business Officer at Deliverr Inc. and held leadership roles at Lyft and the U.S. Department of Transportation. Derek's experience includes significant positions at The White House and the United States Senate, where they contributed as Deputy Director of OMB and Chief Economist/Policy Advisor, respectively. Additionally, they serve on the boards of Toll Brothers and the United States Postal Service.
