Emma E.

Emma E. is a Senior Developer at Shopify since January 2021, currently working on internal tooling for Vault. Prior experience at Shopify includes roles in the Shipping Platform and Foreign Exchange divisions. Emma started in a backend developer intern position at Shopify in 2020. Leadership experience includes serving as VP Internal of the McGill Chapter of Hack4Impact, which focuses on developing software for non-profits. Previous internships have been completed at Lightspeed HQ, Adacel, and Irving Oil, where Emma worked in various software development and IT roles. Emma's early work includes serving as a waitress and hostess, as well as a banquet server and summer student for the Town of Quispamsis. Emma holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from McGill University, obtained between 2016 and 2020.
