Eric Walker

Eric Walker is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Shopify since January 2018, Eric oversees the Products and Pricing team, focusing on critical areas such as pricing, discounts, and product merchandising. Previously, as the CTO of Sonder Inc. from January 2015 to December 2017, Eric was instrumental in building the engineering team dedicated to innovating the future of hospitality. Prior roles include Chief Technical Officer at Navendis, Financial Research at Atego, Technical Director of Digital Marketing at R2Integrated, Web Development Engineer at Miller Systems, and Network Engineer at Bowdoin College. Eric holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris and an AB in Physics from Bowdoin College.
