Francis Bogsanyi

Francis Bogsanyi is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and production infrastructure. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Production Engineer at Shopify since July 2013, Francis leads the Caching and Queuing team, focusing on distributed caching and asynchronous job queue infrastructure within GKE. Previous roles include Advisory Software Engineer at IBM Canada Ltd., where Francis specialized in J9 Java Virtual Machine, and Technical Staff Member at Wind River, contributing to Android development. Earlier career positions at IBM, eXray Broadband, and Bell Labs involved significant contributions to software architecture and engineering. Francis holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer Science from The Australian National University.
