Heather Blackburn

Heather Blackburn is a seasoned talent operations leader with extensive experience in enhancing candidate and employee journeys. Currently serving as the Head Of Talent Support Operations at Shopify since January 2016, Heather oversees a team that optimizes the operations surrounding talent acquisition and HR processes. Previously, Heather held multiple roles at Shopify, including Sr. Lead positions in Talent Operations and Talent Acquisition, where significant contributions were made toward operational effectiveness and candidate experience. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Ubisoft Toronto, focusing on recruitment for challenging positions within the gaming industry, and foundational experience in executive search and recruitment at The Laudi Group and other organizations. Heather holds a diploma in Human Services Counselling from George Brown College.
