Jess Peterson

Jess Peterson is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in video production and creative leadership. Currently serving as Senior Video Lead and Executive Producer for Growth at Shopify since January 2022, Jess leads a diverse team across North America, Europe, and APAC to enhance brand visibility through Shopify's global commerce platform. Previously, as Founder and Executive Producer of Mighty Oak, a creative studio established in 2015, Jess has successfully collaborated with notable brands like Netflix and HBO. Additionally, Jess serves as a Motion Design + Animation Mentor for Motion Hatch and has a background in communications management from Children's Museum of the Arts. Jess holds an MA in Communications and Media Studies from The New School and a BS in Music Industry from Northeastern University.
