Kaiyi Li

Kaiyi Li is currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Infrastructure Security at Shopify since October 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Engineering Manager at Humane™ from September 2023 to October 2024, focusing on product security, and at Qrypt from February 2023 to September 2023, where responsibility included delivering post-quantum security solutions and leading teams in cloud services and operations. At Plaid, from June 2019 to February 2023, Kaiyi established the initial security strategy and expanded the team to over 30 members, being the first dedicated security hire. The career began at Airbnb as a Technical Lead specializing in infrastructure security from October 2016 to June 2019. Kaiyi holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
