Kia Dalili is a seasoned Data Science and Engineering Leader with over 15 years of experience in building data science organizations and production ML systems that impact business metrics. Currently, Kia serves as a Senior Manager at Shopify, leading a 35+ person team in Data Science and Engineering that focuses on customer engagement and analytics. Previously, Kia held positions at ActionIQ, Facebook, and multiple academic institutions, including Stevens Institute of Technology and Rutgers University, where they contributed to research and teaching in mathematics and network science. Kia is passionate about tackling high-leverage problems at the intersection of product, data, and systems while nurturing talent within teams.
