Manuel Darveau

Manuel Darveau is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Shopify since May 2018, Manuel has held various roles including Senior Development Manager and Engineering Manager. As a Co-Founder of Maligue.ca since October 2014, Manuel has been instrumental in its growth. Previously, Manuel served as Director of Software Engineering at Motivate International Inc. and held multiple positions at 8D Technologies, including R&D Director and Software Architect. Early career experiences include software engineering roles at Miranda Technologies, Club SONIA, and internships at Softmedical, CGI, and Skytech Communications. Manuel holds a degree in Software Engineering from École de technologie supérieure and a programming technician diploma from Collège Bois de Boulogne.
