Margit Archer is a seasoned tax professional with over 20 years of experience in corporate income taxation, currently serving as Senior Tax Counsel at Shopify. With a specialization in cross-border tax planning for multinational corporations, Margit has developed and implemented comprehensive tax strategies that align with global business objectives. Previously, Margit worked for a decade at PwC, where they provided strategic tax consulting and held various managerial roles, and served as Tax Counsel for a senior member of the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee. Margit holds a J.D. from George Washington University Law School and a B.S. in Business from the University of Missouri.
