Marit Kalf

Marit Kalf is a senior talent acquisition professional with extensive experience in recruitment and HR business partnering. Currently, as Senior Manager - Talent Services at Shopify, Marit leads a large team within the Merchant Acceleration organization, managing the recruitment and HR functions for over 1800 employees. Previously, Marit held various leadership roles at Shopify, including Senior Talent Acquisition Manager for EMEA & APAC, overseeing technical and commercial hiring across these regions. Marit also served as Head of Talent Acquisition at TravelBird, responsible for building teams that align with the company’s culture, and began a career as a Recruitment Consultant at SThree, specializing in the IT sector. Marit holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Business from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
