Mateus Ferreira

Mateus Ferreira is currently a Staff Front End Developer at Shopify, where they work with JavaScript, ReactJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and SASS to maintain Shopify's world-class platform. They have previously held positions as a Senior UX Developer and Front End Developer at Shopify, contributing to the development of payment products and design systems. Before joining Shopify, Mateus worked as a Java/PHP Developer at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Sudeste de Minas and as a Front End Developer at Gengo. They also received an international scholarship under the Science without Borders program and hold a Technologist degree in Systems for the Internet.
