Matt Lee is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in marketing and user experience design. Currently serving as a Staff Design Engineer and Staff Marketing Designer at Shopify since October 2021, Matt previously held the position of Senior Designer at GitHub, where responsibilities included designing marketing pages and implementing a new marketing design system. In earlier roles, Matt excelled as Design Lead at Upstatement, directing client-focused projects and leading cross-disciplinary teams, as well as contributing as a User Experience Designer at MAYA Design and a Front-End Developer at C&G Partners. Over an extensive career that began at Landesberg Design, Matt has consistently demonstrated expertise in both design execution and project management, underpinned by a strong educational foundation in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University.
