Michael Brannan

Michael Brannan is a Data Science Manager at Shopify, where they lead a team focused on enhancing the Developer Platform through data-driven decision-making. Prior to Shopify, Michael served as the Director of Data Science at CleanChoice Energy, supervising the development of machine learning models for customer acquisition. Michael began their career at Mathematica Policy Research, taking on roles in data analytics and programming. They hold a Master of Arts in Economics from Clemson University and completed coursework in Data Analytics at Harvard Extension School, building a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data engineering.
