Paul Stepnowsky

Paul Stepnowsky is currently the Director and Associate General Counsel for Investigations at Shopify. With a background in complex civil litigation and corporate investigations, Paul has represented clients in various legal contexts, including internal investigations and government inquiries. Previously, Paul held roles at Meta, including Governance Director and Privacy and Public Policy Manager, as well as Counsel at O'Melveny & Myers LLP. Paul began their legal career with a Law Clerk position for the Honorable Roger W. Titus at the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland after earning a Doctor of Law from The George Washington University Law School.
