Ray Reddy

Ray Reddy is an experienced technology leader currently serving as VP Product, Retail at Shopify since January 2025, where responsibilities include overseeing Shopify's retail initiatives and POS efforts. Prior to this role, Ray co-founded and led Ritual.co as CEO from August 2014 to January 2025, focusing on the digital transformation of local commerce. Ray's experience at Google from April 2011 to July 2014 involved serving as Group Product Manager for both Google Shopping Express and Mobile Commerce, driving initiatives in same-day delivery and global mobile commerce. As the Founder and CEO of PushLife Inc., which was acquired by Google in 2011, Ray secured venture funding and established partnerships with major mobile operators. Earlier career experience includes work in corporate strategy at Research In Motion, specializing in technology licensing, mergers, acquisitions, and venture investments. Ray holds a B. Math in Computer Science and a Masters of Business in Entrepreneurship & Technology from the University of Waterloo.
