Sam Zimmer

Sam Zimmer currently serves as a Senior Talent Management Analyst and Learning Lead at Shopify since February 2022. Previously, Sam held various roles at Rumie from April 2020 to September 2021, including Director of Learning and Operations and Learning Strategist. Experience also includes working as an Instructional Designer at TuesdayAfternoon Media Inc. from 2018 to 2020, and as a Copywriter & Editor at 5Crowd from 2014 to 2019. Sam has an educational background that includes a Master’s Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University. Additionally, teaching experience encompasses roles as an English Teacher & Technology Specialist at Krabi International School from 2013 to 2018, incorporating teaching experiences from Korea, Vietnam, and Thailand. Sam also worked as a Front of House Manager for FRINGE WORLD under Artrage in 2015-2016.
