Stephen Young

Stephen Young is currently the Director of Business Operations at Shopify, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Stephen served as SVP of Strategic Finance and Data at GoBolt, focusing on financial planning and analysis as well as revenue operations within a fast-growing logistics tech company from January 2023 to September 2025. From March 2021 to January 2023, Stephen was VP of Strategic Finance and also a founding team member at Good, a retail tech startup. Earlier experience includes VP of Operations and Sales Operations at Ritual.co and an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Stephen holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a BaSc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
