Nick Edwards has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2004 when they founded Internationalist Magazine, a national magazine covering global politics and economics. Nick grew the magazine's print readership to 65,000 nationally and led their staff to national awards and recognition, including the prestigious Eddie Award. In 2007, they took on the role of Marketing Strategy Consultant at BuzzBee Company, followed by Digital Strategist at Newsweek in 2009. In 2008, they enrolled at Harvard Business School. In 2010, they took on the role of Marketing and Solution Development at Ooyala. From 2012 to 2017, they were the CEO and co-founder of Boomtrain, a personalized notification platform that leveraged machine learning and predictive algorithms to drive increased clicks, engagement and revenue through customer communications. In 2017, they also took on the role of Advisor at Zeta Global. In 2018, they became co-founder of ShopMessage, the leading conversational marketing platform designed for e-commerce companies. Nick currently works with thousands of leading retailers to help them build more meaningful and lucrative connections with their customers.

Nick Edwards attended Harvard Business School from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained their MBA. Nick then attended the University of Puget Sound from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Politial Economy.
